Why We Use Lithium Iron Phosphase
Lithium Iron Phosphate, or LiFePO4, batteries are one of the most durable and reliable energy sources on the market and a drastic improvement over lead-acid in safety, weight, capacity and shelf life.

Benefits:

• Safety: Lithium Iron Phosphate is the safest lithium on the market. It will not explode or catch on fire. It is absent of potentially volatile chemicals that are found in other lithium cells.
• Long Lifespan: Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries have up to 6,000+ life cycles without significantly decreasing performance. That means they last for years and years. By comparison, the average lifetime of lead-acid batteries is just two years.
• High Efficiency: Lithium Iron Phosphate has 100% of its capacity available for use. It can be quickly charged, discharged, and recharged again reducing downtime, which increases efficiency. This makes it a great fit for a variety of applications like RVs, trailers, boats, outbuilding, homes and more.
• No Active Maintenance: The Safari UT 1300 does not require active maintenance to extend its service life. The batteries show no memory effects and can be stored for long periods of time because of the extremely low self-discharge rate (<3% per month). There's no acid or water, no mess and no trickle charging.
• Flexible Use: Because Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries emit no fumes or require little air flow, you can use them inside or outside. They can be stacked on top of each other or can be used in any position and in a variety of ways or applications.
• Peaks and Valleys Energy Use: Using Lithium Iron Phosphate for energy storage, you can optimize usage and help solve the peaks and valleys that occurs during high and low energy demand usage. This also can help to stabilize the grid from intense demand cycles by allowing you to use the stored energy when you need it.

Safety
The Lion Safari UT 1300 series is made from Lithium Iron Phosphate and is the safest battery technology on the market. Because it does not emit any toxic fumes or gases, you can use it inside your home, tent, RV or any other confined area. Lithium Iron Phosphate is the highest grade, safest battery composition available and has no potentially volatile chemistry. The Safari UT 1300 goes through extensive testing from initial design through production and before it ever leaves Lion Energy.

Warranty Repairs/Replacements
For repair or replacement, contact customer service at 1-385-375-8191. Do not ship unit until you receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from customer service at Lion Energy. Lion Energy will not be responsible for any shipping or handling damage.

Limited Warranty
This warranty for the unit is extended to the original purchaser or user, and it covers defects in materials and workmanship. The Safari UT 1300 has a lifetime warranty of the battery cells, rated at 80% of the capacity (105Ah x .8 = 84Ah)

Under extreme use (maximum charge and discharge rates) the battery cells expected life cycle is 3500. At "normal usage" the expected life cycles will be greater.

This warranty is invalidated if any of the following occurs, but not limited to:

• Failure to follow the instructions in the User's Manual.
• Accidental damage, unreasonable use, misuse, or overloading. Excludes normal wear and tear.
• Extended storage without recharging or repairs done by an unauthorized person or modification.
• Opening or modifying the battery casing.

This warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties. Lion Energy will not be liable for consequential or incidental damages. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by Lion Energy could void the user's authority to operate this device.

Shipping is typically through freight carriers and the actual shipping time is contingent on your location and the specific warehouse dispatching your order. Please allow for a 1-3 business day processing period before shipment, and an estimated delivery time of up to 7 business days. Your confirmation email will include delivery details and we will send you a tracking number as soon as one is available. If you ordered several separate items, you may receive multiple tracking numbers. Once the item has been shipped, the freight service will contact you to coordinate the date and time of delivery. If you require any special accommodations during delivery please let us know as soon as possible and let the delivery company know when arranging the appointment.

Typically, orders will be dropped off either curbside or outside your front door or garage. It is your responsibility to bring the order inside or to its final destination and to remove any existing items.

Depending on the item, parts may be shipped in multiple boxes, and assembly may be required. When your order is delivered, please check that you have all pieces of the item and that nothing is damaged. If your order is damaged during transit and external damage is visible, note the damage immediately, write it on the delivery documents, take photos and/or videos, and refuse shipment. If there is no visible external damage, accept the package but note “subject to concealed damage” on the delivery documents. Any damage upon delivery needs to be reported within 24 hours of delivery or you may not be eligible for a refund.
